Did you guys have a good Easter weekend? Michael and I couldn’t visit our families for Easter this year, but we had fun nonetheless! We went to a new church down here and then came home and feasted! Oh my gosh I ate so much good food, I am still full. Leftovers for days.
So lately I’ve been experimenting much more with my hair. For years I’ve been following big-time bloggers who experiment with their hair and I love it. Honestly I thought a lot of these looks were unattainable unless you were blessed with mermaid-like locks but that is so not the case.
My hair is superrr fine. Even if you have super fine hair, thick braided locks are still so attainable! Want to know what the secret is? Dry shampoo and then pulling your braids a lose (this part is very important!). Pretty much whenever I braid my hair these days, I “pull the braid apart” to make it seem fuller.
I tried this half-up braided hair crown this weekend and was surprised by how easy it is. There are a bunch of videos on youtube of how to do it. The braided hair crown didn’t come out quiteeeee how I wanted it to though. I was going for a romantic, bohemian, girl-of-the-forest look and instead I think it looks like something from star wars LOL. Oh well. Practice makes perfect.
Have any of you tried out this hairstyle before?
