Hi Folks,
I’m currently writing this from Ohio! I’ve been back here for about a month and I have to say, I forgot how cold and dark the winters here can be — especially when there isn’t snow. It’s been about 36 degrees (too warm for snow), lots of cold drizzly rain, heavy clouds, and MUD. Sometimes I’m like….I voluntarily left San Diego for this?! Haha, just kidding. Kinda.
This past weekend we got very lucky and the temps outside dipped down enough for snow! It was just a light blanket of snow, but it was SO PRETTY. It really is soo magical when it snows in the wintertime.

I’ve been living in this Carhartt jacket that Michael got me for Christmas. I’ve wanted my own Carhartt forever, but had no excuse to get one while I was in sunny California. Since I was going to be spending most of winter in the midwest, it was the perfect time to get this coat. Carhartt coats are known for their tough, hardy exterior — they’re built for the worst weather and conditions.
The color I’m wearing is “taupe gray”. I’m obsessed with this color! Jacket is layered over this Patagonia fleece pullover (in color “rosewater”). This pullover from Patagonia is so versatile and the colors go with so much.
I hope you all are having a great winter season and start to 2020, TTYL.
