Since moving to Virginia I’ve been soo inspired by the East Coast aesthetic, vibes, and fashion. Whenever I think of the East Coast, visions of structured tailoring, classic silhouettes, and sophisticated styling comes to mind. The lifestyle Michael (my husband) and I have can be hectic sometimes… but it really is neat moving to different parts of the country and experiencing each location’s unique culture & style.
Lately I’ve been obsessed with Sarah Vickers’ blog — her New England style is so classic and I just can’t get enough! Also, her dog is the cutest and I want to know how he stays so still during photographs.
Lately I’ve steered away from distressed denim, florals, and bohemian vibes and instead am embracing sophisticated fabrics and timeless styles. Quite a change from Mississippi! Lol remember this post about cutoff overalls? Ha! Learning more than ever that personal style is an evolution that becomes more refined with each life experience.
So last night Michael and I were finally able to book our honeymoon! As some of you know we had a destination wedding in New Orleans but couldn’t honeymoon right away because of his leave. So this January we will be celebrating our one year anniversary and honeymoon in Riviera Maya (it’s in Mexico)! Ahhhh so excited. It took us forever to find a place because there are so many options for a honeymoon and I was obsessing over every detail but I think we found the perfect place. Now I have to go hit the gym for that bikini!!
