Shadow is the best accessory 😉
Obsessed with this tote. The monogram & bow adds such a great touch.
Hey friends 🙂
Tomorrow is Friday! And it’s Memorial Day Weekend. What are you all doing for the long weekend?
You may have already saw on Instagram, but I was searching high and low for an available campground to go to this weekend and everywhere is booked! It looks like we will be staying at home (which isn’t a bad thing) but we don’t have a grill…and a lot of our friends are out of town….stay tuned.
But in other news…sharing with you all today one of my go-to summer styles. Do any of you have super sheer fabrics in your closet? Or tops that have little cut-outs in them?
Well I have a few but honestly I never really wear them out and about because I feel kinda awkward in them. Whenever I buy a super sheer, mesh, or lacy top I’m wondering if I’m supposed to see my bra underneath? Am I supposed to layer a camisole under this? Will everyone be staring at me in Winn-Dixie because my shirt is see-through?!
Nowadays I almost exclusively wear these kind of tops over swimsuits. Even if I don’t plan on swimming, whenever I’m heading to the lake, or for a weekend getaway at the beach I always pack these type of shirts. Shirts that have cut-outs or are super sheer are perfect for outdoor summer activities for a few reasons.
- They’re super cooling and provide tons of airflow.
- They’re a nice change-up from your normal bikini coverup.
- A hint of your bikini peeking through is super playful and fun.
- And finally, they allow you to show off your swimsuit, but still provide a little coverage if you don’t want everyone totally staring at your stomach while you’re eating a cheeseburger.
Wishing you all the best day — TYSM for reading.
