Well hello! It has been SO quiet here on Jassamine Elaine. I mentioned in my last blog post that I’m changing the name of this blog + doing a rebrand. For anyone who’s done this you know it’s a whole ordeal. Over the past few months I’ve realized Jassamine Elaine is just not who I am anymore/doesn’t represent my brand/feels like a dead end. So. I’ve been saving my new content for when my rebrand/rename launches 🙂 it’s coming soon I promise and I’m so excited!!
But in the meantime I wanted to share some domestic AF brunch photos with you guys. Michael and I love our kitchen here. To keep our healthy eating under control and also in an effort to save money (lol) we’ve been almost exclusively eating in. And the irony is not lost on me that I’m sharing pics of me making a very unhealthy breakfast! Ha. If you follow on Instagram/Instagram stories then you probably have seen me make a big salad practically every night.
Also, I want to share a MAJOR life hack with you guys. #NOTsponsored — I have become obsessed with Amazon Prime Now. In Virginia Beach we would go shopping once a week at our commissary. For those who don’t know, the commissary is a grocery store just for military and their families. The one in Virginia was huge and they had insanely good prices on everything and a huge organic section. Well I shopped at the commissaries here in San Diego and was so disappointed. There was hardly anything organic, the produce was dismal, and it was beyond crowded. Pretty much every store/street here is insanely crowded so obviously I immediately started looking for a way to get my groceries delivered haha. Hence, now I just order my groceries from Sprouts and Amazon delivers them in literally 2 hours. I am obsessed and will probably not go into another grocery store ever again until we move away from here!
I felt like I was winning at life with this little life hack so of course I wanted to share it with you guys. I hope you all are having a great week. I’ve been glued to the news for the past couple of weeks and watching all these natural disasters is so heartbreaking. Definitely a wake up call for me to not worry about little stresses and to never take anything for granted.
