I spent my spring break in Pensacola, Florida — perhaps one of the most underrated beaches in the state (IMO)! The weather was a little brisk at times but the beaches were clean and white, with the water a beautiful hue of blue. Michael’s here in Pensacola for flight school — seriously so glad I could visit him.
Michael and I were heading to the beach and on the way saw a large dog adoption event hosted by a variety of rescues and shelters. Of course, we stopped by and met some adorable (and adoptable!) canines.
Since the weather was a little cool I wore clothes over my swimsuit that could easily transition from the beach to a nice place for dinner.
Vintage clip-on earrings – You can find similar ones here!
DIY Eddie Bauer high-waisted shorts – When I fashion jeans into shorts, I always cut a pair that I picked up at the goodwill. I happened to find a beautiful pair of super high waisted white Eddie Bauer jeans that I knew would be perfect jean shorts.
Mossimo Sandals– Surprisingly comfortable and they have already endured a strenuous week on my college campus.
Twirl your hair into a simple bun, but make sure to leave half an inch out. Tie your messy bun with a hair tie. Take the strand of hair you left out and wrap it around your elastic to hide it-I also think this adds a little something extra! Secure the strand with a bobby pin or two and tuck it in. This look is great when your hair is unwashed and textured.
