So excited to share with you all my home office because 1) I love seeing other offices and getting inspired and 2) I love sharing how I decorate rental spaces with you guys. Since we move a lot I like to document how I decorate each house — it serves as a “layout” for the next home we move into and it’s also fun to see how our home decor changes and evolves.
One of the biggest challenges I find with decorating a rental home is the overwhelming amount of white walls. They’re inevitable, and a hallmark of living in a rental home. While they can get monotonous, they do provide a great canvas to let your furniture shine (especially if you have a statement piece). One of the new additions to my office in this house is my velvet chair! It was a little pricier but IMO worth every cent. I get so happy just looking at it and it’s a huge pop of color for an otherwise neutral room.
My office is my sanctuary and creative space in which I run my blog out of. I use my office to tackle all the components that come with blogging (managing 5+ social channels, emails, photo editing, writing posts, etc) but also as a make up + styling room. To give my office a more “fashion editorial” feel I always include a wardrobe rack with my most treasured pieces on it! Which of course, includes my wedding dress ♥
I had almost this exact same gallery wall setup in our home in Mississippi (which you can see right here)! To mix it up though I periodically change out photos/quotes/graphics in my frames. I hope you all enjoyed this home tour! I will probably document the decor in all the homes/states we live in.
