Sharing this leopard and denim road trip outfit I wore last week on our way up to Reno! We drove up for Tailhook — which is a big naval aviation convention that happens every year in September. Michael actually got winged at Tailhook 3 years ago! You can read a little bit more about that HERE.
So we made the drive up from San Diego to Reno, which took us along route 395. It’s a really pretty, lonely highway drive along the base of the Eastern Sierras. There is SO much to explore along that area (it’s the gateway to a lot of parks). Also, there are lots of cute restaurants and roadside stops. We stopped at a German bakery and spent WAY too much $$ on pastries (no regrets).
About half way along the trip we ventured into a recreation area known for off-roading. The views were insane. The area was so beautiful — we were in large rock formations and had views of brooding mountains in the distance. The area is so idyllic a TON of movies (like Iron Man!) have been shot there.

I wore this leopard and denim skirt situation — leopard is having a very big moment this fall. I got both of these pieces on MAJOR markdown. I really prefer to buy high-quality items, but usually snag them when they’re on sale. This denim skirt from Frame Denim is so soft + comfortable.
It’s been a crazy week around here — lots of stuff I can’t wait to fill you in on. Thank you all so much for reading!! It means the world.
