While I was in NYC this summer I went shopping at an Issey Miyake store… it was my first time shopping at a legit *designer*. It was amazing and also, slightly intimidating?! I was nervous trying things on in the dressing room for fear I’d ruin something and then have to buy it lol.
I ended up getting a stunning long cardigan that is part of the Pleats Please collection. The way the fabric moves and adapts is mesmerizing. No doubt this is the highest priced everyday item in my closet — it’s cool knowing it’s something I’ll have forever.
The cardigan I got can be found HERE.
My brother and I snapped some pics of it recently when I was home in Ohio. My brother and I have been doing fun photoshoots together for years (way before Instagram was a thing).
This shoot is unique in that it was shot with Kodak tri-X 400 120 roll film. I find shooting with film to be so rewarding, but not without a cost! The photos below were taken in sweltering heat in a scorched rock valley. In one hour, only 5 photos were taken. The film takes about a week to get processed. The effort involved to shoot & develop film makes the end result much sweeter.

Thank you for reading! For daily pics you can follow along on INSTAGRAM, and for daily inspo you can follow along on PINTEREST.
