I was recently sent OZ Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Right off the bat, I was intrigued.
I’m excited to share with you all my very first review!
I love products that are ethically driven. This serum is 100% cruelty-free (vegan!) as well as sulfate-free, paraben-free…you get the idea.
It boasts that it will plump and moisturize your skin and that it should be used in conjunction with your normal moisturizer. You apply it with a glass vile onto your skin, and then use your fingers to disperse. The glass vile and container make me feel luxurious and fool me into thinking it costs much more than the meager $15 it goes for on Amazon! The serum disperses almost immediately into your skin.
I’ve been using it all over my face and neck, especially around the early signs of eye wrinkles that have begun to appear after prolonged neglect of adequate sleep (I blame college).
So, the result? I have noticed a difference in the quality and buoyancy of my skin. I was sitting in a hair salon this past week, because I had begrudgingly convinced myself it was time for a hair cut (an embarrassing 3 months had gone by…). As I was looking in the mirror, I noticed something was different. A new quality had nestled that reminded me of my skin quality from high school. No, not an unsightly breakout, but rather a fresh innocence had replaced some of the duller and more worn-out aspects of my skin. I’ll be sharing this product with my mom, as I’m curious to see what the results will be with more mature skin.
A couple other recent products in my beauty repertoire are a dry shampoo by Dove and a shade of lavender by OPI.
I’ve tried my fair share of dry shampoos. Some don’t seem to absorb any oil at all and others leave a powdery residue that doesn’t dissipate. I can’t rave enough about Dove’s Refresh + Care Dry Shampoo. For a bargain price, this little bottle packs a serious punch. I’ll usually stick to just two days of unwashed hair, but if I’m feeling really lazy I’ll extend it to three. Like most dry shampoos, it gives your hair lots of texture, volume, and workability.
This OPI nail color though. I’ve been traveling like crazy lately and I love how it corresponds with my luggage.
Here is a recent insta pic of it on my way to NYC! ^^^
