Sunset Walk in a Sweater Dress and Wellies

Finally sharing these photos of a sunset walk we took at Fort Story a while ago. This beach is my favorite in Virginia Beach. There are two lighthouses right by it — one is historic and the other one is currently in use. There are huge rocks on the beach that I’m sure were placed there to help with beach erosion or something. They’re so majestic and it says no climbing on them but TBH all I want to do is play around on them… There’s hardly anyone on this beach so we let Shadow off the leash and she runs and runs and pretty much she turns into the happiest dog ever. We’ve been working so hard on her leash manners (the struggle is real) but I can’t resist just taking her off leash and letting her play.

I bought this sweater dress at a thrift store and it’s so perfect. It’s funny how a few of my favorite pieces are from thrift stores! Truly hidden treasures. I’ve worn these wellies for years and I’m sure you guys have seen me feature them on here before.
